T-72

The T-72, is an Soviet tank that entered production in 1970. This tank was design by Uralvagonzavod manufacturing plant in Nizhny Tagil. This tank was one generation with American M-60 Patton, Germany Leopard-1, British Chieftain. With this tank, the designers have managed to implement an idea of effective and at the same time relatively simple and chep in production. Lately, the reputation of T-72 is down because export version more worst than the USSR version. The Iraqi's T-72 quality is more worst than USSR version. This is proved in Gulf War. 3000 Iraqi's T-72 is knocked out by 1500 American M1A2 Abrams. T-72 is have an guided missile.

This allows to increase tank speed and mobility, which in it's turn, give some certain advantage on the battlefield.
